Two-Factor Authentication Issue

Added by Brian Schwartz about 7 years ago

Friends,

We won't be able to access your iTunes Connect account and setup your title on iBooks (or take it off-sale and enroll you in KDP Select) unless you turn off Two-Factor authentication.

By default, when you upgrade your iOS, Apple may have turned it on.

To turn off two-factor authentication (so we don't need a 6 digit authentication code via a cell phone), sign in to your Apple ID account page and click Edit in the Security section. Then click Turn Off Two-Factor Authentication. After you create new security questions and verify your date of birth, two-factor authentication will be turned off. If you don't see the option to turn off two-factor authentication on your Apple ID account page, that means you can't turn it off. More info is at: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204915

Thanks,
Brian
